Using low-radiation, Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)/ 3D digital imaging technology, along with his world-class training and experience, Dr. Arauz is able to a provide reliable diagnosis and treatment.
CBCT is a clear and accurate dental imaging technique used by our practice for diagnosis and treatment planning. A CBCT scan can be used for implant treatment to determine if there are any obstacles to work around (i.e. maxillary sinus, inferior alveolar nerve, bone etc.) and how much room (bone) the doctor has to place your implant. This imaging technique can also be used to identify pathology found by clinical examination or by other imaging techniques. By knowing your exact anatomy in the clear and accurate imaging, Dr. Jose Arauz can better perform your procedure and even plan the exact location of your implant before the day of the procedure. Although, CBCT imaging is not needed for every case, it is very useful in ensuring safe and accurate surgical outcomes.
